SUMMARY

Dracula's film begins with the journal of Jonathan, a young man who went to Transylvania to do business with Dracula.When Jonathan arrived to Dracula's castle, Dracula saw Mina's photo and he thought she was his beloved who died a long time ago. After that, Jonathan became Dracula's prisoner and he saw very strange and evil things.Meanwhile in England, Jonathan's fiancée, Mina, was visiting her friend Lucy. Lucy had just decided to marry Arthur Holmwood, she had to choose between him and his two friends. Dracula was coming to England to meet Mina. He met her in the streets of England and he tried to talk to her but she didn't want. She said him she had a boyfriend and they were going to married soon. While Dracula was in England he neededblood and Lucy  was his first victim. To try to sane Lucy they called Professor Abraham Van Helsing. Van Helsing knew what was wrong to Lucy, but he couldn't save her. Meanwhile, Jonathan escaped from the castle and he went to a convent where he was atended by the nuns. Dracula was trying to seduce Mina and he got it slowly. But Mina received a telephone call and she went to Transylvania to marry Jonathan. After that, Mina and Jonathan returned to England. When they came to England they heard that Lucy had died. Lucy became a vampire and Professor Van Helsing cut off her head to kill her definitely. Mina had to hide herself because Dracula was serching her. She hid in an asylum, where Dracula cannot find her. But finally Dracula find her and he told her who he really was, then Mina realized that he was the person who killed Lucy, although  she loves him. Mina told Dracula she wanted to be immortal, so Dracula bit Mina's neck and told her that she had to taste his blood. Jonathan and Van Helsing came into the room, they discovered Dracula and they tried to kill him. Later, Dracula returned to Transylvania. Then, Jonathan and Van Helsing followed him to finally kill him. Mina tried to save Dracula, but finally he died in his castle and Mina cut off his head to get Dracula's freedom.

Francis Ford Coppola (born April 7, 1939) is an Italian-American film director, producer and screenwriter. Away from show business, Coppola is also a vintnter, magazine publisher and hotelier. He is a graduate of Hofstra University where he studied theatre. He earned an M.F.A in film directing from the UCLA Film School. He is primarily known for directing the Godfather films, The Conversation and Apocalypse Now.

Abraham stoker was a Irish novelist, best know today for his gothic novel Dracula.He was bor on 8 November 1847. During his lifetime,                                                                                                                                                         He was better known as the personal assistant of actor Henry Irving and business manager of the Lyceum Theatre in London, which Iriving owner. Abraham died on 20 April 1912. Some of his best novels are: The Primrose Path, The Snake's Pass, Miss Betty and Dracula.
